Matt – Director 

The Master Fishmonger. Matt joined the family business straight from school in 1992 and followed in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps. Matt is present on Brixham fish market every morning, ensuring Jacksons gets the freshest and finest quality fish.


Matt’s youngest son Lewis. Having completed a 3 year professional cookery course, Lewis brings an innovative and contemporary passion for seafood. Lewis aspires to one day become a Director of Jacksons, just like his Father.


Whilst still at school, Ben joined the company in 2007, he was the traditional Saturday boy! Upon finishing his education, he joined the company full time. Ben is also a buyer for the company and Jacksons longest serving artisan after Matt. 


Juozas joined the Jacksons family from another local fish processor, meaning he is incredibly fast at filleting. Originally from Lithuania, Juozas often enjoys telling customers about his varied experiences with fish. 


Matt’s eldest son Calvin. After completing his BSc in Chemistry and becoming a part-qualified Accountant, Calvin is just like every other fishmonger?! In the future, Calvin also endeavours to take a Directorship at Jacksons.
